Generally, drying takes about three days. However, depending on the type of material, the extent of the wetness, and the size of the loss, it can take longer.
Turning off the equipment will only prolong the drying process.
We use an antimicrobial to kill any mold, mildew or bacteria that may have been caused by the water intrusion.
The anti-microbial is not toxic to humans or animals. We do recommend that you remain out of the affected area for about an hour, until the anti-microbial is dry.
As long as the loss has been properly taken care of within 48 hours of water intrusion, mold is not an issue.
